HOW TO PLAY
The Ge'ez Grid
The Ge'ez (Ethiopic) writing system has 34 consonant families, each with 7 vowel forms. That's 238 unique characters — and each one is a bubble!
Colors = Vowel Orders
Each of the 7 vowel orders has its own color:
How to Match
- Aim — Move your mouse/finger to aim
- Shoot — Click/tap to launch a bubble
- Match 3+ — Connect 3 or more bubbles of the same color (vowel order) to pop them
- Vowel Sweep — When you pop a match, ALL other bubbles with the same vowel order across the entire board are eliminated!
- Drop clusters — Bubbles disconnected from the top fall for bonus points
Scoring
- Match 3: 30 points
- Each extra bubble in match: +20 points
- Family chain bubbles: 25 points each
- Dropped bubbles: 15 points each
- Level clear: 500 + 100 × level
Levels
Each level introduces more consonant families. Level 1 starts with just 5 families (35 characters). By level 15+, all 34 families are in play!
Game Over
If the bubbles reach the red danger line near the bottom, the game ends. Clear them before they pile up!
